I’ve always been fascinated with history and life during the many eras before ours. The Medieval Time Period is no exception and when I found out about the Medieval Times restaurant chain, I knew that I had to go! The nearest one to me at the time was in Dallas, TX so one weekend I decided to make a road trip of it and journeyed up for the dinner and tournament. I was seated in the Black & Yellow Knight’s section (by random luck) and  feasted on an array of medieval dishes throughout the show. The only thing out of place were of course the soft drinks and alcoholic beverages but those minor nuances were not enough to throw off the whole evening. Everyone in the building was always in character and it really was a great experience.
