The Proposal at the Top of Texas

Sarah and I officially started dating on November 2nd, 2011 and to celebrate our first year together we decided to return to the site of one of our favorite adventures. The plan was to drive up to Carlsbad, NM on Friday the 2nd and then get up early to climb Guadalupe Peak on Saturday the 3rd. In the Spring of 2009 I had a sudden urge to do something out of my element and a few hours later I was signed up to go SkyDiving out of SkyDive San Marcos! I had never really contemplated doing anything like that, but it definitely seemed like something that everyone should try at least once in their lifetime so I decided why not, and scheduled my jump for a few days after the end spring semester.
