On December 18th, 2009, I graduated from the University of Texas San Antonio with a BBA in Finance. In attendance of the ceremony were many members of my family as well as some very close friends. I would like to thank all of you for coming to support me on such an important day in my life as I know each and every one of you will be there for me going forward into the future. I would also like to offer many thanks for all the letters and gifts I received as I truly appreciate all the attention from all my friends and family. It’s hard to believe that only two years ago I was graduating from High School and now I have graduated from college. I have learned so much over these past few years and I have come so far as both a person and a member of this society. I would like to offer a special thanks to my Honor’s College Counselor, Diana Howard, who was there for me from day one. Without Mrs. Howard, I don’t believe I could have ever graduated in only two years but because of her, I was able to play to my strengths as she taught me to and achieve what few others thought possible. I would also like to thank Ronald Sweet who spent some extra time this past semester helping me prep for a career in finance. I learned more about the industry from him in one semester than I did from all my other professors combined. Without these two people, I don’t think I would have been able to do the things I have done and so once again I would like to offer them my deepest gratitude.
To each and everyone of you who passed on words of encouragement and offered your congratulations, I want you to know that you guys help me stay on track and keep me fighting to achieve more. I only hope that I can serve as an inspiration to you as you guys have been for me.
