Preface: Living close to most of our family and friends, almost all of the weddings Sarah and I have attended were within a short driving distance of our house. As a child, rocking chairs always seemed to have a certain mystical quality about them. They appeared to represent one of the greatest tools of relaxation and were often depicted as one of the best ways to enjoy a view of the setting sun. Not wanting to wait until my retirement to achieve my youthful aspiration to try out this form of meditation I decided to take matters into my own hands. With the end of the 2014 approaching Sarah and I had been pondering what to do with the time-off I had scheduled around my twenty-sixth birthday.
