Sarah and I enjoyed a quick day trip to Krause Springs today! I had never been before but it was a beautiful area and it was a lot of fun to get out of San Antonio for the day. We hiked for a bit, enjoyed a picnic lunch, and played a few games of chess as we watched the sun set. We had a great time and I was able to get a few great shots of the waterfalls within the park.

While having dinner with Sarah's parents one November evening, the topic of New Orleans found its way into our conversation and it was quickly revealed that I had never been before. Upon learning this, Sarah's parents immediately started talking about all of the great restaurants that one simply must visit when they go, leading them to reminisce on the time that they themselves had spent in the city. Before I knew it, the decision was made that it had been too long since their last visit and that Sarah and I should join them for a return trip sometime soon. On December 18th, 2009, I graduated from the University of Texas San Antonio with a BBA in Finance. In attendance of the ceremony were many members of my family as well as some very close friends.
