For over five years I have owned a 1979 Chevy Monte Carlo who's fate has changed quite regularly. Originally it was bought with the intention of restoring and building it into a street-rod but after a more detailed post-purchase inspection that plan was scrapped due to the cars overall poor condition. Flat Out

While browsing the internets one day I ended up finding myself on a message board discussing an upcoming event in Goliad, Texas called the Texas Mile. I had never heard of this before so I looked it up and what I found peaked my interest beyond belief. Twice a year cars could go and drive flat out down a runway at an old airport less than 200 miles away from where I lived. Driving a Dream

I've loved cars for as far back as I can remember and its always been one of my lifelong dreams to own one of the few that I spent hours drooling over as a kid. Thanks to games like Need For Speed and GranTurismo, the Lotus Elise found itself among this group. Arguably one of the greatest driver cars, the Lotus looks the part and more than follows through with its capabilities behind the wheel.
